Everything buyers ask us before choosing an alcohol tester — sensor types, accuracy, printing, delivery and pricing. Still unsure? Message us on WhatsApp.
Choosing a device
What's the difference between fuel cell and semiconductor breathalyzers?+
Fuel cell (electrochemical) sensors react only to alcohol, giving repeatable readings — they're the usual choice for enforcement and workplace testing where the result has consequences. Semiconductor sensors are more sensitive and far more affordable, which makes them ideal for high-volume everyday screening where you mainly need a fast pass/fail. We stock both and will tell you honestly which one fits your use case and budget.
Which alcohol tester is right for my workplace?+
It depends on how many people you screen and how the result is used. For screening a full shift quickly, a non-contact detector or screening baton needs no mouthpieces and clears a queue in minutes. For recorded, audit-ready testing, a fuel cell analyzer with a built-in or Bluetooth printer puts date, time and BAC on paper. For fixed entry points, a wall-mount station self-screens everyone walking in. Share your headcount and use case on WhatsApp and we'll recommend specific models.
Do you offer non-contact (mouthpiece-free) breathalyzers?+
Yes. Our non-contact detectors screen a person without a mouthpiece, so there are no consumables to restock and no shared surfaces between tests — useful for hygienic, high-throughput screening at gates, events and shift changes.
Can the devices print test results?+
Several models can. Some have an in-built thermal printer; others pair with a Bluetooth thermal printer. Both print the date, time and BAC reading the moment the test ends, which compliance and HR teams use as an audit record.
Accuracy & use
How accurate are Alcohol Breath Tester alcohol testers?+
Accuracy depends on the sensor type and model. Fuel cell analyzers react to alcohol specifically and suit professional testing, while semiconductor screeners are tuned for reliable pass/fail screening. Each product page and our datasheet list the detection range and specifications for that specific model. For the exact accuracy spec of a model you're considering, check its datasheet specs or ask us.
Do breathalyzer sensors need calibration?+
Yes — like all breath alcohol instruments, the sensors drift over time and should be recalibrated periodically to stay accurate, with the interval depending on the model and how heavily it's used. Talk to us about calibration and servicing for the model you own or are buying.
What does the BAC reading mean?+
BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration) is the proportion of alcohol in the breath sample, used as a proxy for blood alcohol. Devices display it in the unit shown on their datasheet (for example mg/100mL or %BAC). You set a threshold that suits your policy or local legal limit, and treat readings above it as a fail.
Buying, delivery & support
Do you ship across India?+
Yes. We're based in New Delhi and ship pan-India, with regional offices that handle sales and support across different zones. Tell us your state and we'll route you to the nearest team.
Do you offer bulk or volume pricing?+
Yes. MRP and sale price are shown on every product page, and we offer volume pricing for bulk orders. Send us your model and quantity through the Request a Quote form or WhatsApp for a tailored price.
How do I place an order or get a quote?+
Use the Request a Quote form or message us on WhatsApp with the model and quantity you need. We respond quickly, confirm pricing and availability, and guide you through the order. WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach our sales team.
Do the devices come with a warranty and after-sales support?+
Yes. Fuel cell models carry a 1-year warranty and semiconductor models a 6-month warranty. We provide WhatsApp-first after-sales support along with calibration and servicing. Reach out any time for help with setup, usage or maintenance.
